Desert Edge Garage — Refund & Return Policy


1 · What This Covers

Applies to purchases made from Desert Edge Garage (“DEG”) online, by phone, or in person. It explains return eligibility, fees, cancellations, and how warranties work after our return window.


2 · Fulfillment & Returns

Orders are fulfilled through the Desert Edge Logistics Network. Based on speed and availability, your order may ship from our AZ location or a network fulfillment center. For returns, your RMA email will list the designated DE Returns Center for your item. Returns sent to any other address may be refused for tracking and security reasons.

4 · Returns Eligibility Rules

  1. Brand-new condition only. Any sign of installation, fluid contact, wiring, or wear voids eligibility.

  2. Original packaging required. Missing inserts, torn boxes, or defaced barcodes may increase the restocking fee or void the return.

  3. RMA first. Email [email protected] for a Return Merchandise Authorisation; returns without an RMA are refused.

  4. Ship within 10 days of RMA approval using a tracked, insured service. Unless the return is due to a DEG error, you pay inbound freight.

  5. Inspection on arrival. If a return fails inspection (used, damaged, incomplete) we’ll notify you; you may choose to have it shipped back at your cost.


5 · How to Start a Return

  1. Request an RMA — email your order #, SKU, and reason. Attach photos for damage or defects.

  2. Receive instructions — we send your RMA # and the correct return address.

  3. Pack securely — use original packaging inside a sturdy outer carton; write the RMA # on the label.

  4. Ship it back within 10 days. Keep the tracking number.

  5. Inspection & refund — approved refunds (minus any fees and original outbound shipping) post to your original payment method within 5 business days.


6 · Restocking Fees Explained

The standard 15 % restock offsets processing, inspection, and payment-gateway costs. Fees may rise to 25 % for oversize items, missing packaging, or other special-handling cases. Restocking is waived if we shipped the wrong item or a proven defect is reported within 14 days of delivery.


7 · Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Notify us within 48 hours of delivery. We’ll arrange a prepaid label and either replace the item or issue a full refund once the carrier confirms the claim. Restocking fees never apply when the fault is ours or the carrier’s.


8 · Order Cancellations

Contact us immediately if you need to cancel. Orders already prepared for shipment or containing special-order items may incur up to a 20 % restock charge; custom products usually cannot be cancelled.


9 · Warranty After 30 Days

After our 30-day return window, any defects are handled directly through the product’s manufacturer. DEG is happy to provide invoices or contact details, but final approval, shipping costs, and turnaround times are set by the manufacturer.


10 · Refused or Undeliverable Shipments

Packages returned to us as undeliverable or refused without an RMA are treated as standard returns: outbound and return freight plus the applicable restocking fee are deducted from the refund.
